HI, I'M EM

I'm based on the south coast in Christchurch, Dorset, documenting weddings throughout the UK and wherever your story takes me.

My work is shaped by a slower pace of life. I find joy in early mornings by the sea, long walks through nature, and noticing the quiet moments that often pass unnoticed. That natural curiosity is what I bring to every wedding day, looking beyond the obvious to capture genuine connection, honest emotion, and the meaningful details that make your celebration uniquely yours.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My background is in analogue film, and I've been shooting 35mm since I was twelve years old. Learning photography through film taught me patience, intention, and the beauty of slowing down, values that still influence every image I create today, even when working digitally.

To me, the most important photographs aren't the perfectly posed ones. They're the fleeting glances, the wind in your veil, the squeeze of a parent's hand, the laughter that catches everyone by surprise. They're the moments that remind you not only what your wedding looked like, but exactly how it felt.

Thank you for considering me to document such an important chapter of your story.

Where do we start?! Emily was amazing for the whole day, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Not only were our wedding photographs stunning, they arrived really quickly and there were so many of them! Emily took on far more than just being a photographer, helping to move the cake for shots, giving the groom his button hole and generally was a massive help on the best day of our lives. She delivered beautiful photos of us in both colour and black & white and I love that you can send a link to all your family and friends for them to login and see as well. The day was dry, but very windy, but that didn’t stop Emily. She handled everything really professionally and made sure to capture things that were important to us and what we’d asked for. 11 out of 10 for everything. Thank you Emily, we can’t wait to be able to show these photos to our family and potential children in years to come

Why family means so much to me.

I'm a wife and mum to two wonderful boys, Finley and Otis. Becoming a parent has changed the way I see weddings. While every celebration is about two people choosing each other, it's also about the families who shaped them, the people who've loved them through every chapter, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

I'm always looking for the people you naturally gravitate towards. The glance towards your dad before you walk down the aisle. Your mum quietly straightening your dress. The grandparents watching from the back of the room. The friends who feel more like family.

When I have a camera in my hands, I have the privilege of seeing your day from the outside looking in. It allows me to preserve the moments you won't see happening, but will treasure for the rest of your life.

Your wedding gallery is more than a collection of beautiful photographs—it's the beginning of your family's visual legacy. Long after the flowers have faded and the dress is packed away, these images become part of your story to pass down for generations.

I want to tell your story honestly, by being fully present, quietly observant, and celebrating your love exactly as it unfolds.
