MEET EM
I’m Em, and I’m the one you’ll see on your wedding day with the camera. I often get told by my couples that they feel like they’ve known me forever, and that it’s like spending time with a friend.
That sums up so well how I want you to feel, I want you to feel like you can be yourselves and totally relax. I’m a bit of an introvert, but I’m also an absolute ninja when it comes to documenting your wedding.
I will work tirelessly to document every important moment for you because let’s be honest, weddings are full to the brim with joy, but they happen so fast. I’m witnessing your day, solely focussing on preserving each incredible memory you make. Outside of the world of weddings I’m a mum of two boys (three if you include my husband), I am the Harry Potter generation, I live for noodles and I drink way too much coffee (more recently decaf, because you know, I’m not an animal).
My mum is my biggest influence creatively. We spent so much time in London visiting incredible galleries and doing evening courses at our local university when I was just a kid. She was the one to hand me my first camera when I was 12, an Olympus OM20 (35mm film camera) and I somehow surpassed the generic ‘I want to take pictures of nature’ phase, and went straight into portraiture in a documentary style.
Being artistic is in my nature, I only came to realise I was actually good at it through school, then later uni and now as my career and absolute passion. I’m here living my dream job, hanging out with incredible couples and their families, making images I love and my clients treasure. I get to do the school run most days (thank goodness for summer holidays), walk my little woof at the beach and make my husband dinner. I’m not sure how I got so lucky, but I’m so connected to my business I really see it as another facet of my identity.
‘Where do we start?! Emily was amazing for the whole day, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Not only were our wedding photographs stunning, they arrived really quickly and there were so many of them! Emily took on far more than just being a photographer, helping to move the cake for shots, giving the groom his button hole and generally was a massive help on the best day of our lives. She delivered beautiful photos of us in both colour and black & white and I love that you can send a link to all your family and friends for them to login and see as well. The day was dry, but very windy, but that didn’t stop Emily. She handled everything really professionally and made sure to capture things that were important to us and what we’d asked for. 11 out of 10 for everything. I’m based on the South Coast of England, in Dorset, I capture weddings both locally and internationally. If you are planning for a destination wedding, please give me as much detail as you can with your enquiry form and I can create a bespoke quote for your requirements.

I provide on the day polaroid previews for my full day clients, with the full finished gallery being delivered online up to 6 weeks after your wedding.

When you’re ready to secure your date I will require a 20% deposit for your chosen coverage and send over an electronic contract for you to sign. Once I’ve received both of these steps your date will be held in my diary, and we’re all set!

Yes, I offer both 35mm film and medium format. Film is such a big passion of mine, I’ll process the film for you and scan the images into your online gallery.

Yes. I do not share RAW files, only professionally edited images will be delivered as your gallery. I take pride in my artistry and will work to give you the most beautiful final product.

Yes. I have an integrated shop which allows you to select and order prints through your gallery. You can also design your own albums, or allow me to create an album for you. Friends and family can also make their own purchases through the shop too.
